Pricing & quotes

How much do your renovation services cost?

Every quote is built from an on-site assessment, so pricing reflects the actual surface, condition and access on your property rather than a per-square-foot guess. The written quote is itemised, and the number you sign is the number you pay unless the scope changes.

Do you offer free estimates?

Yes. Site visits and written estimates are free and carry no obligation, anywhere in Vaughan and the GTA.

Timelines

How long does a typical project take?

Parging and concrete step repairs are usually one to three days. A full stucco application on a single-family home runs one to three weeks depending on size and detailing. Interior renovations are scheduled against a written plan and you get the timeline before work begins.

Can you work around my schedule?

Yes. We are open seven days a week from 6:00 AM, so early starts, weekend work and staged schedules are normal for us.

Materials

What is Jewelstone concrete and how is it different from regular concrete?

Jewelstone is a decorative, polymer-modified concrete overlay applied over existing concrete steps, walkways and porches. It bonds to the substrate, seals against freeze-thaw and road salt, and finishes in a textured, slip-resistant surface. Plain concrete cracks and pits; Jewelstone is designed to be resurfaced rather than replaced.

What type of stucco do you use?

Acrylic and cementitious finish systems over a mesh-reinforced base coat, selected for Ontario freeze-thaw cycles. Texture and colour are matched to your home or specified new.

What is parging and why does it matter?

Parging is the cement coating applied over exposed foundation walls above grade. It protects the block or poured wall from water infiltration, freeze-thaw damage and road salt, and it is the first thing people see at the base of your house.

Warranty & insurance

What warranty do you provide?

Workmanship warranties on every service, plus the manufacturer warranties on the materials we install. If something is not right after completion, you get a direct line to the owner.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. Ciwan Contracting Inc is fully licensed, carries comprehensive liability insurance, and runs a WSIB-compliant workforce.

Service areas

What areas do you serve?

Vaughan and Woodbridge first, then Thornhill, Richmond Hill, Markham, North York, Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton and Aurora. If you are elsewhere in the GTA, ask; we usually say yes.

Process

What is your estimate and project process?

On-site assessment, itemised written quote, professional installation by our own crew, and a final walkthrough with you before we call the job complete.

What payment methods do you accept?

E-transfer, cheque and major credit cards. Deposits and progress payments are set out in the written quote.

Weather

Can you work during winter?

Interior renovations and painting run year-round. Exterior stucco, parging and Jewelstone need above-freezing temperatures to cure properly, so we schedule those from spring through late fall and book winter slots for interiors.
